In December 2016, Jan De Nul delivered the works for primary school De Horizon in Zwevezele, this is the 100th school within the ‘Schools of Tomorrow’ programme. This was celebrated with a ceremonial opening in the presence of Education Minister Hilde Crevits.

With a surface of 899 m², De Horizon was actually Jan De Nul’s smallest project within the 'Schools of Tomorrow’ programme. We built a completely new nursery division for 230 pre-schoolers. The building contains four nursery classes with corresponding sanitary facilities, a canteen and multifunctional room. All rooms have been organised around a spiral-shaped patio that provides easy access to the open playground. The new building is in use since January 2017.
