Jan De Nul has an office in Panama and works with many local employees together with European . The executive staff mainly consists of expats such as from Europe. Both Davy, Dominic, Nicola and Ricardo who have been are living in Panama for quite some timeyears now. According to Ricardo João Almeida, Panama is an interesting country. “It has a completely different culture than we are used to in Europe, with other habits. It is a challenge to adjust yourself.”

Davy Spriet lives in Panama with his family and goes on holiday in Belgium twice a year. “We live in Panama City, one of the most modern cities of the area. We have lots of facilities here, we are short on nothing.”

Also Dominic De Prins likes living in Panama. “It takes some time to find your way and get to know the nice places. But life is good here.”
